The latest title shot for the Arroyo brothers is truly a family affair this time around.

McJoe Arroyo has arrived with his team—including twin brother McWilliams—in El Paso, Texas for his upcoming vacant title fight with fellow unbeaten junior bantamweight contender, Philippines’ Arthur Villanueva. The 12-round bout airs live this Saturday on Showtime, serving as the chief support to Mexico’s Julio Cesar Chavez Jr’s 10-round clash with countryman Marcos Reyes. [Click Here To Read More]

Too bad McWilliams got robbed in his title fight fight in Thailand..Cause if McJoe was to win on saturday they could have became the first Puerto Rican brothers & twins to be world champs.. Even tho McWilliamsa(who fights right handed) was the Gold medalist in the amateur World Championships(McJoe won Bronze & is a southpaw) as profesionals I like McJoe's style better, he's more of a boxer seems to fight smarter than his twin McWilliams that is more of a brawler.. Hopefully they will get away from the inept leeches of Peter & Ivan Rivera(P.R. Best Boxing) & get involve with better people...

I really like these guys. Mcwilliams did really good considering what he was dealing with. I scored that fight a draw. But the ref didn't count the KD that I thought came from a punch and the other dude was fighting really dirty constantly pushing. He should've had a point deducted. McWilliams should've won by two points.

I also feel McJoe is a more polished, all around fighter than his brother though McWilliams seems to be more of a pure puncher. It's that very quality that gets McWilliams in trouble as he sometimes gets too reliant on that one shot and doesn't keep his hands moving (as in the late stages with Ruenroeng). Villanueva is a handful but McJoe appears to have the tools necessary to get the job done in a tough scrap.

I've seen Ruenrong and he should be disqualified for those Thai style takedowns. As long as they let him body slam people, he's going to be hard to beat. McWilliam did good to come away with a close loss and no permanent damage, the 2 point hometown advantage beat him. McJoe has a better chance, maybe, but a tough nut to crack.
