Comments Thread For: Flanagan: Time To Look at Big Fights and Big Money

Obvious thing to do would be for WBO to order an immediate rematch once Zapeda is ready. Or if Flanagan has lost by then, give him an immediate shot -
Someone on another forum pointed out that ruling injuries a no contest would be an easy way out for any fighter who is losing and doesnt want to take the lossLeave a comment:

Personally I feel that Flanagan is no a legit champion.
It's not his fault, but he should offer a rematch first.
I still cant understand why the fight was not ruled a NC.
Flanagan got a gift last night, he needs to earn some respect.Leave a comment:

its total bullcrap why doesnt the wbo supervisor rule a draw, i know the promoters paying the ref so he's going to appease his master but realy, he's no champion he's beat nobody just like quigg. There must be a reason why warren always go's the wbo or wba routes rather than wbc, maybe he can get more influence etc.
Its annoying and obviously Flanagan acted like a mug celebrating like that, but they arent going to overturn the decisionLeave a comment:

The UK will have 2 LW belts if Crolla beats Perez next week. I hope he faces Magdaleno or Petrov next.Leave a comment:

Yes after just 2 rounds...they both landed flush shots b4 Zepedas shoulder freakishly popped..I think TURBO TERRY was gonna best him..Leave a comment:

Well there didn't seem much between them power wise, so maybe Zepedas record was padded..Leave a comment:

he can be matched with popular british lightweights like mitchell, crolla, burns, mathews or campbell. we're kind of having a lightweight golden age in the uk right now
but imo the zepeda fight should be ruled a no contest and he should have to face magdelano or petrov for the vacant title, if zepeda's injury proves too bad for an immediate rematch. last night's fight didn't prove a thingLeave a comment:
