  • Comments Thread For: Flanagan vs. Zepeda Early Results From Manchester

Manchester—The first of BoxNation’s live fights on the Frank Warren-promoted Terry Flanagan versus Jose Zepeda bill from the Velodrome venue saw local boy Macaulay McGowan (10st 13lbs 7oz) vying with Driffield’s Danny “Lethal” Little (11st 1lb) in a scheduled four-threes contest.

Little looks like a miniature, orthodox version of Luis Collazo, albeit without Collazo's skill set; he won his first two professional fights before dropping a six-round decision to Dean Byrne.

Guys like Terry Flanagan are the reason people laugh at the sanctioning bodies.
These guys say the word "world title" and "world champion" way too much.
It's about who you beat for the belt, not the fact that you paid to have the fight be for one.

Already talking about making a bunch of tin can defenses at home.
"He's going to be gone for a while so that gives you around 5 or 6 title fights at home against the homeless."

How do these british bums get so many title shots...

this should be a draw, im unhappy i had the draw covered, so zepeda tko's himself realy!, I said he shouldnt be bowling before the fight, obvious trick get the guy to injure himself and he took the bait.

Give the guy a break . He has just gone into 2 50/50 fights back to back and was the mandatory challenger. The bookies had this Zepeda fight a even money fight so he has gone in with live guys, Zepeda was fighting as high as welterweight a couple of fights ago. It's not Flanagan's fault that he went toe to toe with the ****er Zepeda and his shoulder popped out **** happens lol unless you bet your farm on him.
