  • Comments Thread For: Guillermo Rigondeaux To Lomachenko - When and Where?

In an earlier article on BoxingScene.com, Egis Klimas - the manager of WBO featherweight titlist Vasyl Lomachenko, called for a fight with WBA/WBO super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux.

The fight would have to take place at the featherweight limit of 126-pounds.

A potential fight would match two fighters who are regarded as the greatest amateur fighters of all-time. They each won two Olympic gold medals and won world titles in record time.

As I said earlier: Rigondeaux has the tools to beat Lomachenko...
            ... And Rigo knows that...
... Now, Loma's team has to figure things out... (I mean poor Arum...)

I'd pay good money to see this fight.

No doubt Loma has the balls to fight Rigo but the question is does Arum have the balls to make it happen?

This would be an awesome fight. Plus Leo Santa Cruz can duck the winner for 10,000 years

Is Rigo signing with Haymon or not?
His contract with Hyde doesn't run out until Sept/Oct.
So I guess you can rule out July August Sept Oct from the "when" category.
