Frisco, Texas - World rated and undefeated contenders Jessie Magdaleno of Las Vegas and Casey Ramos of Austin, Texas, will headline a Top Rank doubleheader at the Dr. Pepper Arena on Saturday, August 1.
Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank made the announcement. The fight card will be on Top Rank's Solo Boxeo Tecate boxing series on UniMas.
First bell will be 7 pm local time.
Magdaleno, 21-0, 15 KOs, will take on Rey Perez, 19-6, 4 KOs, of the Philippines in a 10
round super bantamweight bout. Ramos, 19-0, 5 KOs, faces Daniel Evangelista, Jr. of
Mexico City. Evangelista Jr. has a record of 17-5-1, 13 KOs. The super featherweight bout is scheduled for eight rounds.
