  • Comments Thread For: Wilder-Arreola Clash Gaining Steam For September 26

As previously reported, Deontay Wilder will make the second defence of his WBC world heavyweight title on September 26 - but both opponent and venue are yet to be named.

The 29-year-old was last in action in front of his home fans in Birmingham, Alabama on June 13 when he stopped Eric Molina in the ninth round, live on Sky Sports.

The 'Bronze Bomber' drew criticism for that performance and is expected to step up his level of opponent, with the likes of Chris Arreola (36-4-0-KO31) - who stopped Molina inside one round in 2012 - in the running.

As expected. At least for sure fatass arreola wont freeze up like stivernes punkass did. Other than that not much to say about this much anticipated bout. Thank you al haymon for giving us tub of lard instead of povetkin

i'm not even sure arreola wins his next fight. he went life and death against an unknown journeyman in his last fight.

Alot better then just some random tomato can like Wilders last fight. It's a good and dangerous stay busy fight but if Wilder pulls through I hope the winner of Fury/Klitchscko or Povetkin is next.

If Arreola comes out ****ing he could easily knock Wilder out but the problem is when Wilder lands back

If it was the same Arreola that fought Vitali, it would be a good fight. But Arreola is close to shot, he looked bad last fight. That being said, fight should be good while it last.
