Comments Thread For: Barrera: We Pushed Hard For Pascal, He Rejected Me

Former amateur standout Sullivan Barrera (15-0) is in the final stages of his training camp for his July 25th showdown against once beaten Vasily Lepikhin for the USABA light heavyweight strap. The fight will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center under the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip.

Sullivan has tried to land fights against Isaac Chilemba (the only person to beat Lipikhin), Jean Pascal and other top fighters in the division but so far all of his efforts have been rebuffed. He plans on defeating Lepikhin in such a dominating manner that HBO will force some of these top fighters to face him.

saw a picture of barrera earlier he looks like a cruiserweight would love to see him with top guys in the division there is a reason why pascal did not choose him and instead choose another cuban gonzales. main events might have a problem on there hands cause it seems tough to match barrera with top tier opposition

Why does pascal stay ducking? This ho is fighting some unknown other Cuban instead. I would rather have seen him glove up vs Barrera.

Oh dear. You don't know dates and locations though, you're acting all ITK without backing it up. I already showed you up as a fraud in the other thread, you wanna go again?

You knew nothing about his amateur background and didn't even know who beat him let alone have official scorecards from his fights. Stop acting like some boxing ITK. You know nothing.

I have no doubt you're making this rubbish up about GGG as well, you seem to have sources all over the world of boxing, then what the **** are you doing on here with the rest of us? Why not make the most of your sources?

Grow up man. I used to tell fairy tales to my friends as well...then I turned 12.
