Comments Thread For: Hopkins: In Philly, Danny Garcia Seen as Loser To Herrera

Super lightweight contender Mauricio Herrera had a tough 2015, going 1-2 for the year. He defeated Johan Perez by majority decision to win the interim WBA super lightweight title but also lost disputed decisions to Danny Garcia and Jose Benavides sandwiched around that victory.

Many people thought that Herrera did more than enough to have also won those two fights and you can count Golden Boy stakeholder Bernard Hopkins among those who feel Herrera should have had a perfect 3-0 2014 campaign.

Everyone knows he lost except for the die hard biased fans who don't want to accept it.

herrera should win this, lundy is small at the weight, he is open for counter left hooks from what ive seen especially, its whethever he can get the ko, which is the question. If herrera wins they should get him a rematch with alvarado he could win next time.

No,no,no. If we want to speak of a robbery... we will speak abt Garcia-Herrera. When even Hopkins says u lost, means u lost...

I am a big Danny fan and will continue to be. I think he lost to Herrera and wanted him to give him a rematch instead of fighting Salka. He didn't. So he gets a hit for it and we move on.

Everyone knows he lost and not close, 8-4 easy, unless your like Angel and think Dannys face got like that from "headbutts".

Gotta laugh at hopkins burning the danny **** riders, even in philly they know he lost, its called being objective or telling it like it is, no sense going through life with your head in the sand. Just look at the collateral damage since the herrera fight, he got exposed in his fake homecoming fight so hes ceased with the fake puertorican act, then he had to fight a hopeless salka to get his confidence back in the sham of all sham fights, then he got that work from peterson and had to "win on the scorecards" again, and now hes fighting the commentator!!!! How low can this ho go
