BoxingScene.com and other members of the media recently caught up with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (34-0, 33KOs). The Alabama native and top contender Tyson Fury have engaged in a war of words over the social networks in recent years and appeared on a collision course to meet in the ring.
Fury is now Wladimir Klitschko's mandatory challenger and a purse bid has been set for July 6th. Klitschko will be a big favorite in the fight but Wilder insists that Fury shouldn't be slept on in the fight and feels the 6'9" Irishman's fight could cause him major problems.
