Comments Thread For: Thurman on Mayweather: TBE is Earned After Retirement

WBA 'regular' welterweight champion Keith Thurman has demanded an answer from 'Super' champion Floyd Mayweather Jr over their potential match-up.

The 26-year-old Thurman (25-0, 21KOs) has made no secret of his desire to face divisional kingpin Mayweather, who some believe will attempt to make it to a flawless 50-fight career by fighting twice more.

Although the 38-year-old has already named Karim Mayfield and Andre Berto as his most likely opponents, Thurman is seen by many as a more viable option - along with British fighters Kell Brook and Amir Khan.

in my opinion Mayweather should fight Thurman,Porter or Brook. they've been fighting welters their entire careers. khan does'nt have a chance to beat neither of those three and should'nt be allowed to skip over them.Brook is first, and a toss up between the other two.

Thurman...stop talking about Floyd and focus on that FADE that Errol Spence got for you.

Floyd should fight Thurman or Brook in September.

Porter lost to Brook so he needs to be out of the running, same for Khan who was very unimpressive against Algieri.

Floyd should fight Crawford...if he had balls. But he don't. He was brave in the Pacquiao fight because he knew from the doctors that Pacman had a bad shoulder.

This a very dumb post. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Brook and Floyd lol...clinch fest Floyd easy 12 UD written all over it...

Floyd schools Thurman but at least Thurman would have a shot to land something in the first few rounds..until he taste right hand counters and gets tentative..

Floyd v. Thurman is probably the best fight..

Obviously Floyd doesn't have the balls to face Triple G...

What is this article? Mayweather named Mayfield and berto as his most likely opponents? Clearly that was a joke, I hope boxing scene didn't pay for this article.

So he has to fight a fighter with 1 fight at 140 to prove he has balls?
