David Carmona is once again on the doorstep of a major fight at the top level of the junior bantamweight division. First he must get past Warlito Parrenas, as the two square off in a scheduled 12-round main event in Hermosillo, Mexico.
Both fighters made weight for their interim junior bantamweight title fight, which airs live on TV Azteca in Mexico and beIN Sports Espaņol in the United States. Carmona came in right at the division limit of 115 lbs. Parrenas was a shade under at 114.5 lbs.
