Floyd gets the De La Hoya fight immediately after that, pockets at least $25m, and he launched into the stratosphere from the on.
    Your recollection is wrong.

Floyd said, I will fight Margarito if all the stars align ......

Arum said no because if Floyd loses to Margarito, he would be stuck with guarantees but Floyd would no longer be worth the money. In other words, TR would be left taking the losses.

TR had Margarito waiting that year for Floyd to fight him .Floyd then fought Baldomir. Did Floyd make more money with Baldomir? No. Was anything after that guaranteed or did he just fight Baldomir? He just fought Baldomir with no guarantees. Hmmmm

Margarito had half the speed of Maidana and half the work rate. A young Prime Mayweather would have boxed circles around Margarito. Margarito had nothing to off set Mahweather outside of possibly breaking his hand against his bulbous melon.

How can you compare a green Martinez to a prime p4p#1 Mayweather?

Judah was Floyd last fight with Top Rank, and he is still owed money from that fight. Mayweather at the time was actually being accused of ducking Baldomir by Brian Kenny

Well that's utterly ridiculous, nobody in their right mind would consider baldomir a threat.

If anyone has any doubts about what would have happened .... Go and look at the Floyd vs Baldomir fight.

It would have been a Cakewalk ..........
