Venezuela's Jorge "Golden Boy" Linares, the lightweight world champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), visited the office of the World Boxing Association (WBA) and made his interest clear in unifying world titles.
After nearly four years without stepping foot on Panamanian territory, Linares (39-3, 26 KOs) made a short visit before continuing back to the United States. He just signed a deal to see action in October in Venezuela.
