Comments Thread For: Khan on Mayweather Sr. Convo: He Was Very Worried!

British star Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) is starting to have his doubts about landing a lucrative fight with WBC/WBO/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26KOs), who returns on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Khan has been in hot pursuit of this match for the last two years. He even called up Floyd's father and trainer, Floyd Mayweather Sr., to discuss the scenario of fighting his son in the fall. Their phone conversation became very hostile, with Mayweather Sr. erupting over certain comments made by Khan in the press.

Khan is weaving a right old narrative here. Dude is eating, sleeping and breathing Mayweather.

Sure Khan. A struggling win over Algeri, and not so great win against Luis 'Stepping Stone" Collazo and Devon Alexander definitely makes Mayweather worried.

Some one needs to get involved here this idiot just spits pure slander and putting a comparison on Tyson and Ali losing fights like him needs to be stopped , neither Ali or Mike got sparked in 58 seconds ....that's where that comparison ends.
Some one now needs to pull this idiot to task , this kid may well be in the middle of a breakdown .There simply can't be any other reasonable answer to this bizarre stalking.
Get some snap down you Amir and don't believe everything they tell you !

People say Khan's speed and combinations could trouble Floyd.

Khan is fast, but he's not effective with it. He doesn't know how to use it. Floyd, Whitaker, and SRL had the ring IQ to go with their speed. This is why Garcia, Algieri, and Julio Diaz were able to time him.

And as for his combinations, he just throws the same shoeshine flurries over and over.
