Comments Thread For: Tim Bradley on Keith Thurman: I Don't Back Down!

WBO interim-welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (31-1-1, 12KOs) has no interest in a rematch with Jessie Vargas (26-1, 9KOs), but he does have interest in a fight with WBA 'regular' welterweight champion Keith Thurman (25-0, 21KOs).

Bradley won a twelve round unanimous decision over Vargas on Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. Thurman is back in a few weeks, headlining against Luis Collazo as part of the debut edition of Premier Boxing Champions on ESPN.

Timmy is grossly underappreciated as a fighter. This guy has one of the toughest resumes ever.

    Ruslan Provodnikov
    Kendall Holt
    Number 48
    Juan Manuel Marques
    Nate Campbell
    Joel Casamoyor
    Junior Witter

Not to mention that Lamont Peterson, Luis Abregu, Devon Alexander and Jessie Vargas were all undefeated when Bradley fought and beat them. He deserves the biggest names out there and he`s willing to fight the bigger names and the bigger bodies as he`s calling out Golovkin now. This man truly has no chill whatsoever. No off button. He just on all the time!

Did you seriously list Casamayor to try and make a point that Bradley has a tough resume? You lost all credibility after that. Go sit back down till we call on you again.

I doubt Thurman takes a chance vs Tim in a bout that gets neither nothing...

Bradley has only lost once, and holds the WBO belt. Thurman becomes a clear Top 5 guy by beating Bradley. We know it won't happen because of politics though. But, both guys need to start making moves.

"See one name he doesn't agree on, blast the whole argument"
definition of douchy nitpicking. You couldn't argue with his opinion normally so you nitpicked one single name out of the many and dismissed his whole opinion based on it. Not cool.

I would pay to see this, that's a perfect fight IMO.

Thurman needs to step the **** up if he wants to be considered a top level fighter.

I love Bradley. Great fighter, great resume, but I think he would get TKO'd in this one.
