The date of October 9th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn is being mentioned for the light heavyweight showdown between Andrzej Fonfara (27-3, 16 KOs) and former WBO light heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly (29-2, 15 KOs), according to Sports Review.
The two boxers were mentioned to be facing each other in 2012, but the fight never happened. Cleverly was the WBO champion from 2011 to 2013, when he was knocked out in four rounds by Sergei Kovalev.
