Comments Thread For: Calzaghe: Want To See Fury Land a Few on Klitschko

The Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association has ordered a purse bid in the coming days for the mandatory fight between WBA/IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitchko (64-3, 53 KOs) and his official challenger, undefeated British contender Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs).

The Pride of Wales, Joe Calzaghe, says Fury must make Klitschko "fight." Fury will be a huge underdog on the contest. Calzaghe hopes it won't be a usual Klitschko performance, where the division ruler dominates heavy with the jab and eventually gets the knockout.

He should give Vladimir a dirty fight - he should be able to do this.

It's a pity Joe retired when he did. He could of had a couple more fights. Never seem to fade at the end of he's career. Could of still been dominant for a lot longer. He's skill and work rate were hard to fault.

I'm sure that Tyson's father, John, has given him many a lesson on eye gouging, but I'm not sure if even a Fury can gouge eyes when wearing boxing gloves on both hands. I guess we will find out fight night.

12 rounds of dirty Gypsy fighting will take its toll on the old Ukrainian.

Elbows, shoving, gloves in the face, thumb in the eye, rabbit punching, rib shots during the clinches, and some sneaky uppercuts when Wlad tries to grab

Tyson has no chance other than Father Time rearing his ugly head...

Still kind of pissed that Calzaghe retired before Ward... But then again the fight would have never happened because Calzaghe wouldn't come to the U.S. to fight in an empty arena when he could fill up big arenas in the U.K. and Ward would never take the fight in the U.K. because he's a coward...

Land is when Calzaghe's punches connected to Lacy's face over and and over again over 12 rounds...

                  Ward would've won.

Bernard dumped Joe on the canvas in the first couple minutes and made him work hard just to sc**** through the rounds.

Andre would use a lot of the same tactics, except he would be fresh for the full 12 rounds and would throw/ land at a higher volume than Bernard.

Calzaghe beats Ward on points, just like bhop and jr.
