Former two division champion Timothy Bradley has in recent days called for a fight with WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin.

His promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank said the fight should take place at catch-weight of 154-pounds, which is the junior middleweight division. Golovkin has discussed the idea of heading down to junior middleweight, but only for a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Trainer Joel Diaz, who works the corner of Bradley, is not as enthusiastic about the match.

Provodnikov didn't make Bradley go life & death. Bradley made himself go life and death. That was one of the most unnecessary gameplans I've ever seen.

Agreed, that fight was what it was because Bradley felt he had something to prove. But it still goes without saying that GGG not only beats him but could alter his life.
