In the latest edition of truTv's Friday Night KO series, Diego Magdaleno (28-1) moved closer to a title shot by defeating Jose "Chelo" Gonzalez (24-2) via 7th round TKO in a bizarre fight that was light on action.

The action started out slow as both fighters felt each other out in the first round. The action was so slow that referee Luis Pabón motioned to both fighters to get busy early in the second.

What happened to Chelo? That's the second time he does something wierd. Mancini said it was a good body shot. I saw a body punch, but it didn't look good. He was winning imo, and then he's rolling on the canvas.

That was a legit body shot. The wind was taken out of Gonzalez and there is no wind below the belt, only above it. Magdaleno knocked Gonzalez out with a body shot, simple as that. And Gonzalez had 5 minutes to recover but his fighting heart is the size of a g****, otherwise he would have gotten up by the 5 minute mark. He is just not that good. Not busy, a bit boring, and not much heart.

Man that was a killer body shot.... imo it looked like it hit the very last rib at the bottom and broke that shit. Good punch by magdaleno.
