Promoter Tuto Zabala Jr has played down some concerns over the WBO super flyweight Interim title fight between WBO Oriental champion Warlito “Cowboy” Parrenas who is ranked No.1 and Mexico’s David Carmona who is No.2.
Zabala informed the New Standard/BoxingScene.com that “everything is good to go for July 4 in Mexico.”
The assurance was given after Parrenas expressed some concern that he was being given the runaround after the bout which was initially supposed to take place on June 20 was postponed to June 27 and then again to July 4.
