Danny Green may make a return to the ring later this summer, the first appearance in nearly three years for the Australian former light heavyweight titleholder and cruiserweight contender.
While an announcement on Green’s career is expected to come Wednesday, The Sydney Morning Herald says that a date and opponent have already been lined up.
Tamas Kovacs — perhaps best known for being stopped in three rounds by Beibut Shumenov back in late 2013 — has agreed to face Green on Aug. 19, according to the newspaper.
