Comments Thread For: Team Porter: Haymon Killed Broner Rehydration Clause

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Kenny Porter, father and trainer of Shawn Porter (25-1-1, 16KOs), advised BoxingScene.com that his son's manager/adviser Al Haymon was the person who nixed the rehydration clause for Saturday's fight with Adrien Broner (30-1,22KOs).

The fight had a catch-weight clause in place for 144-pounds, which Broner requested. Originally there was a rehydration clause for a second-weighin on Saturday morning, where Porter would be allowed to weigh more than ten pounds above the contract limit.

GOOD. I think Porter wins this fight. I was a bit worried about this rehydration nonsense.

Because Hymen knows that Broner is going to put on nearly 20 pounds overnight.

The whole CW for this fight, and the rehydration clause was all just ******. ****** as sh¡t. Killed what was already going to be a highly competitive, and very interesting fight imo. It still is, but all the nonsense that came with it turned me off a scotche. With that being said, I'll be tuned in.

WTF? how many requirements did Team Broner Demand in total? Does Porters dad have to fight the second half of the fight? - with one arm?
