Comments Thread For: N'Dam Not Worried About 'Lucky' Lemieux's Power

Hassan N’Dam considers David Lemieux “lucky” to be in this position and isn’t concerned about the Canadian contender’s considerable power.

France’s N’Dam (31-1, 18 KOs) has traveled to Lemieux’s native Montreal for a 12-round fight Saturday night at Bell Centre. They’ll compete for the vacant IBF middleweight title, which was stripped from Jermain Taylor in February, in a fight that’ll be televised by FOX Sports 2 and FOX Deportes and via pay-per-view in Canada (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT).

Nothing wrong with Hassan believing in himself and believing he can win. He went the distance with Quillin and Stevens. For Lemiieux to win, he cannot just go for broke and get winded, he has to set up his shots because if he blows his wad, he could tire late and get outboxed or stopped. He needs to pace himself, cut off the ring. For Hassan to win, he has to use all angles and circle and not get caught on the ropes and use his reach. It's who is on their game and stays on their game that wins. If one guy fights the fight differently than he planned, or that works best for him, he loses.

Yeah I know there's nothing wrong brat but I have to support my guy don't I? I think Lemieux has improved lately, he's more mature and more seasoned. Maybe he's less in love with his power and I hope he can stick to his gameplan! But then Hassan is a good boxer as well. Good fight! War Lemieux.

Im hoping Ndam wins. I like what Lemieux brings to the ring, but im not sure what GBP has planned for him. I feel they want to build him up and what that means...no GGG fight and i wanna see if GGG can collect all the belts.

Either way, its gonna be fun to watch!
