    Keith Thurman (25-0, 21KOs) is getting ready for the first defense of his WBA 'regular' welterweight title, on July 11th against the man who previously held the belt in Luis Collazo. The fight Premier Boxing Champions bout will headline a card from Thurman's backyard at the USF Sundome in Tampa, Florida.

    Collazo suffered a bad loss last year to British star Amir Khan. Thurman does not view Khan as a legitimate welterweight, noting that he had issues in facing a junior welterweight fighter who doesn't bring in a lot of power. He feels Khan is avoiding fighters who can punch at the weight.

      Who has Thurman fought anyways? Khan's resume is DEEP. Thurman's resume is nothing special.

          Thurman Folds Khan! Khan has no Defense, everything is about Speed for him and even the Speed starts to fade by the 5th Round and you can just walk him down. His Combos just look flashy but they're very ineffective and have no steam on them. You will find opening and land on him. He Gets Wobbled every damn fight even against Weaker Opponents.

              I know exactly what Thurman is talking about and Khan tends to panic when he's in the mist of defending.

                  W8, didnt Thurman say Khan has not fought a real 147 fighter and now says he has no business at 147 yet hes fighting Collazo, the guy that Khan beat up

                          khan resume is not deep neither is thurman but khan does fight scared because he's trying to get rid of that glass jaw reputation which he will never lose Thurman knocks him out

                                      he aint lying but i will also point out that thyrman sometimes fights like a macho no defense having brawler,this is equally as bad in my opionpn and he should considering upping his defense because his movement isnt close to elite
