In the opening bout of the All Star Boxing card, junior middleweight Lucius Johnson won a four round unanimous decision over Luis Cruz (0-1-2). Johnson, who was making his pro debut, rained down counter right hands to the head of Cruz throughout the bout. Johnson sealed the win late in the fight, dropping Cruz with a counter right hand to the head late in the fourth round. All three judges scored the bout in favor of Johnson, 39-36, 39-36, and 40-35.
