  • Comments Thread For: Molina: I Can Punch, I'm Going To Test Wilder's Chin

Deontay Wilder has promised to knock out Eric Molina this weekend. Molina has different ideas.

"I'm supposed to come in here and Wilder's supposed to run over me," Molina said on the eve of their WBC title bout in Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday night.

"I can punch just like he can punch. This is going to be a very exciting heavyweight fight. I've never been stronger,” the Texan said.

He's slow... Bad defense... Doesn't look to recover from punches very well... Gets trapped against the ropes constantly...

About all he has going for him is he's tall. That's enough to keep a lot of green on his record but this will probably be his third time being knocked out in the first round.

Wilder already got caught right on the chin on a couple of occasions, look at the Stiverne fight. Wilder's chin might not be made of granite, but it isn't made of china.

Yeah but Stiverne was sick as a dog though.

This time he's probably gonna be facing a healthy opponent.

Still I agree with nerd slapper, probably gonna be 3rd time KOed but still I'll be cheering for the underdog.

Wilder is about as bad a champion as you could possibly get in this day and age! And he's just gotta go!

No one believes that Don King dehydration BS. Fact is Stiverne got a good old fashioned beat down.

Molina will be KOd early and we can start analyzing Wilder-Povetkin..

Stiverne did get a beat down and chances are he might still have gotten a beat down.

I'm not making excuses for Stiverne, but fact is he was REALLY sick and we're talking hospitalisation style, not just a cold!

Don King nothing, he went to hospital for ages afterwards and wasn't being treated simply for trauma!

Wilder has never been in with a good+healthy+relevant opponent.

Molina doesn't qualify for any of this either to be sure.

I only said that it'd be great if he DID do it.

Wilder is still a chinny bum, as per all the available evidence, that's a fact!

And he's not even a really big puncher!

                  #BUM Squad!

Stiverne was really sick? I call BS. Stiverne fought like he always does in his previous fights. He just couldn't catch and even hurt Wilder.

Give Wilder some credit for dominating Stiverne. Even Wilder wasn't 100% in that fight. The vision in his right eye wasn't ok and he kept fighting even though he broke his right hand in round 3.
