Former three division champion Adrien "The Problem" Broner (30-1, 22 KOs) is eager to avenge the only defeat of his career, a December 2012 twelve round decision loss to Marcos Maidana (35-5, 31KOs). Broner was dropped twice in the contest and took punishment during periods of the fight.

You're right adrien no need to. Maidana won the fight easily. Why pick on a man he beat easily?? It's not like he got caught with his hands down or showboating and got knocked out. No Maidana beat him up for 12 rds.

"My name got bigger" - Broner

Yeah into a bigger joke you dumbass.

He's ducking his Argentine daddies, Maidana and Matthysse.

I thought Broner had a rematch clause? If not then that's his fault for not getting Maidana again

Shoot he probably tryna get Maidana's 200lb ass into a fight @ 140 before the end of the year or some other ridiculous stipulation.

Only reason why i want Broner to win next week is to give Maidana a reason to want to fight broner again this year or next, i'd love to see Maidana beating up Broner again, nice payday for Chino as well, would motivate him to come back.

The fight was more competitive than the scores indicated because of the KDs. And it certainly wasn't the cakewalk wipe out AB's haters pretend it was.

9-3 plus 2 kd's or if being a bit kinder 8-4 plus 2 kds, it wasn't very competitive. There was other rounds where Maidana battered Broner for pretty much the whole round )round 1, round 9 for example). It was one sided in too many rounds.

Maidana will end up teaching Broner 2 very valuable lessons about the sport of boxing:

                    1. Take every fight seriously as you never know how bad the other guy wants to win and

                    2. Use your leverage wisely to maximize your purse

Maidana is likely just waiting until he gets the amount of dough he wants then he will rematch Broner.
