Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (45-1-1, 32KOs) has already started early training camp for what he hopes is going to be a fall showdown with WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33KOs) of Puerto Rico. Golden Boy Promotions, who have Canelo, want to stage the fight on an HBO Pay-Per-View date in October or November.

Next week, Canelo and manager Eddy Reynoso will sit down with Golden Boy President Oscar De La Hoya to discuss the terms, including the date and venue, for a Canelo fight.
