Comments Thread For: Arum Eyes Lomachenko-Walters, Quiqq-Donaire in Dubai

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is looking to stage a major show in Dubai in the month of November. He wants to have no less than three world title fights on a seven fight card.

“We want to hold a spectacular show in Dubai as it is a city that so far has been untapped when it comes to boxing,” Arum told 7DAYS. “Ideally we will look to stage an event every three months but to start with we are looking at a date in November.

Manny v Khan headlining with these 2 fights on the undercard would be worth buying.

That's gonna be a lot of money to pull off... but Middle East gonna be thirsty for a big event after Qatar loses the FIFA bid.

For a hypothetical card, it looks great.

We'll see how many of these fights actually come off.

There's a lot of non-TR fighters involved in this hypothetical card, so we'll see if they can get it all worked out.

They're probably getting a huge site fee from whatever hotel/arena is going to host the fights. Wouldn't surprise me if they get $10mil+ just to bring a big fight card there.
