Comments Thread For: Juan Manuel Marquez Still Undecided Regarding Return

Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40KOs) is still undecided regarding his ring return and is still being bothered by a injured right knee during camp. Marquez, who turns 42-years-old in August, has been out of the ring since a May 2014 twelve round decision win over Mike Alvarado at The Forum in Los Angeles, California.

He'd still easily beat any C fighter out there.

he should just make a huge event in Mexico and call it a day

If the knee is not right then there is no point in fighting anymore. Time to call it a career.

Plenty of rumors about a farewell in El Zocalo.

He should hang them up unless its a going away fight. He has nothing left to prove. He had a great career and what happened in the last Pac fight will go down as one the greatest moments in boxing history.

Just call it a career, no sense in taking the risk of a good bye fight on a knee that isn't right.

In other words, Marquez STILL can't find the right opponent to cherry pick who won't require random-blood testing...

At this point he shouldn't bother unless he really, really wants to. It's not like Marquez has anything to prove.
