  • Comments Thread For: Miguel Cotto-Daniel Geale: Post-Fight Report Card

Miguel Cotto pointed to his official weight, 153.6 lbs., and said he’s not a Middleweight. Regardless, he remains history’s Middleweight Champion and his next defense will be huge.

Whether it is the expected showdown with Mexico’s Saul Alvarez, or perhaps even an unexpected rematch with Floyd Mayweather, Cotto’s next defense will be the richest fight in the division since Bernard Hopkins-Oscar De La Hoya in 2004.

The former might surpass it. The latter would likely blow it away.

Is GGG really that ugly - he can't find a dance partner. Maybe he just doesn't dance. He needs to show more vulnerability.
He's 33 now, think his birthday was in March. 2016 - 34, 2017 - 35, 2018 - 36. Yep 2018 should do it - testicles can start dropping down into sacs come that date.

Either Cotto fights GGG next, or he forfeits the WBC belt. Then Cotto can fight whomever he wants in any order he wants, but he won't be holding the WBC middleweight title hostage to his limitations as a fighter and his desire for huge paydays over substantive fights.

Wow you are delusional. I find it strange your first thought is about the man's testicles. And rather descriptive too, hmm. Yea he's a coward because your favorite fighter wont fight him and has 20 excuses. I know Cotto started slowing down at 33 but unfortunately for you and your questionable ***uality, GGG is only getting better. Just ask him out already.I'm just kidding I don't hate gay people, I just hate haters. You're in the wrong sport bud.

Your boy Cotto just fought one of those bums haha. If he can make 160 with ease why should he be expected to move up yet? Just because he can punch with them? It must be that he doesn't wait around for the cowardly Cotto to accept a fight to look for his next one. What's sad is I used to like Cotto before all the excuses. Your boy holds the middleweight title (157) but when asked about middleweight opponents he tells Max Kellerman he's not a Middlewieght. That's fine but stop masquerading as one. War Cotto, War.
