Former two-division champion Paulie Malignaggi is picking his former foe, WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32 KO’s) is easily eliminate former three time champion Daniel Geale (31-3, 16 KO’s) later tonight at Barclays Center in Brooklyn in a twelve round fight that will be televised live on HBO.

Malignaggi suffered his first career loss to Cotto in 2007, when both of them were junior welterweights.

If Cotto pulls though tonight, he is expected to face Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez in the fall.

I was one of the few who said Cotto would fu©k Martinez up. He always would have beaten Martinez. Martinez was a runner with decent pop. Cotto was a head hunter with better pop.

With that being said, Cotto knocks Geale out in some fashion. Most likely TKO.

I would also like to add that Geale is a terrible tune up for Canelo. He was better of fighting GGG. Of he waltz in into the Canelo fight thinking Geale is in front of him or someone of that caliber, he's getting stopped. He might get stopped anyways. Canelo takes the old dog out back and does him old yeller style.

He's not prime and he's weight drained. Cotto just needs to win and get on with it. No one will give him credit.
