  • Comments Thread For: Bryant Jennings Return Targeted For The Fall on HBO

Bryant Jennings is coming off a defeat at the hands of heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, which took place on April 25th at the Madison Square Garden in New York. While 'By By' lost, it was a game effort that raised his stock.

Moving forward, his promoter Gary Shaw told BoxingScene.com - "He trains every day, there's going to be a switch in trainers to my understanding and I'm working with HBO to bring him back roughly in October, November, December, that time frame."

      PED Testing fr Povetkin

If I was Shaw and Team Jennings, I would MAKE SURE Povetkin is PED tested by preferably VADA, or USADA. and not some German or Russian testing outfit.

The shot that knocked out Mike Perez seemed "unnatural" imo. Plus Mr Big mouth WBC Heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder just recently called out Povetkin on this, yes I know Povetkin is Wilder's mandatory.

Even before Wilder said anything I was scratching my head at the Perez knock out , interesting comments from Wilder of knowing people who have known Povetkin all his career and have sparred with him many times, saying they think something is up with Povetkin.

Serious accusations and not to be taken lightly.

Agreed buddy, these performances as of late do raise eyebrows.

Jennings is a solid fighter but I doubt Povetkin will want to fight him before he does Wilder. Might be a good fight Jennings-Pulev, last two Wlad defeatees...

Yeah, I don't get it; it's not like he's an established fighter with a huge fan base. Jennings is still an up-and-coming HW who hasn't had a tremendous amount of experience. He should be fighting at least 3 times a year, preferably 4.

I've heard a lot of fans praise Jennings and say "he'll be a champion someday." Jennings is a solid fighter but he doesn't do anything that really sets him apart from the other top fighters in the division. I don't see him ever becoming a champion because he doesn't have that "x-factor" like Wilder does or Anthony Joshua.

No it wasn't. Povetkin turned Perez around and hit him flush in the jaw with a shot Mike didn't see. Any heavyweight would have knocked Perez out with that punch. Perez never saw it

That's why I don't get all the kvetching about Wilder v Molina. It's a freaking voluntary fight. Make some money, get more exposure, do interviews with the media, get some reps in. Molina's a tall fighter to help prep for Wlad/Fury. Wilder was on with Rome yesterday along with NBC sports. That's great exposure!!

These young fighters don't get, fans just want to see you fight. Not every fight can be Ali-Frazier. They're called superfights for a reason. You have your mandatories fine. But you need to stay active or people stop caring..
