Comments Thread For: Hearn: Khan Scared To Lose, Face Brook For Legacy

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport insists he has done all he can to make the all-British fight happen between Kell Brook and Amir Khan - but claims Khan - or his team - are too afraid of the America-based cash cow losing to Brook.

"I'd love the Amir Khan fight but you lose the passion to talk about the fight," Hearn said. "I can't even be bothered to hype the fight anymore because it seems too far away from being made.

Think Khan views it as too big of a risk but if he can't get Mayweather or Pacquiao then no other fight makes sense for him. If he doesn't get Floyd next, I've got a feeling that it'll be Guerrero or hopefully, Garcia.

There is literally no other reason why he didn't take the fight.

        His arsehole went.

Meanwhile you're matching your boy with Punching Bag Bag Rios.

This fight will happen next summer. It has only been relevant for a year since Brook won the title. Rest of the time it was Brook begging for a pay day and using Khan's name to stay relevant.

Anyways, enjoy while it lasts. Khan fought Alexander and he WILL fight Brook.

Khan fought Alexander after he lost to Porter and has since admitted it was a mistake to pass up that fight

Khan should demand a % of Brook's purses given how they have used his name to become relevant globally.

Otherwise he would just be another belt holder who no one cares about outside of Britain.

Another Kell-end logic, where Alexander is now a bum, since he lost to Porter who lost to Brook. Forgetting that fight does not define his career.

Try this: Khan beat Algieri who beat Provo who beat the **** out of Alvarado who beat Rios, also happens to be Rios' best win.

It won't be a mistake with Brook, they know well how to protect him, so the belt ain't going no where.

"face Brook for legacy." yeah, that extremely enhances Khans legacy.

Where did I say Alexander was a bum? You're waaaaay too emotionally butthurt. I just stated a fact. He lost to Porter and Amir admitted his regret at not taking the fight a year earlier because Maidana then stole his thunder and stole 2 fights against Mayweather.

Will he regret not fighting Brook in a huge event? Will someone else steal a march on him again before September? He looked terrible so the floor is open.

The rest is just more waffling and **** measuring. You badly need to take a hiatus from this site. You've completely lost it upstairs.
