British star Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) said that he hasn’t gotten any assurances from Floyd Mayweather’s camp that if he gets past former WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri later tonight in their bout at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, he will be the next opponent to face Mayweather in the fall.
But Khan has made it clear he doesn’t want any contact with Mayweather’s people until he gets past Algieri, who returns for the first time since last November's twelve round decision loss to then WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao.
