Comments Thread For: Amir Khan-Chris Algieri Tonight: Spike TV, PBC

New York - Star Boxing's Chris Algieri (20-1, 8 KOs) looked primed and ready to go yesterday at Barclays Center, weighing-in at 146.6-pounds for this evening's clash against Amir Khan (30-3, 19 KOs), beneath the 147-lb. welterweight limit. Spike TV will televise the WBC Silver Welterweight title clash at 9:00 PM/ET on the Premier Boxing Championship Series card.

Promoter Joe DeGuardia said: "Chris looks great, and is ready to pull off the upset at this spectacular venue as he did last year. The Barclays Center and Spike TV, the perfect setting for 'déjà vu all over again.'" [Click Here To Read More]

It's not a terrible fight. Two above average fighters in their prime. And khan has been in two great fights.

Don't know what is worth getting excited about here. Khan found the softest fighter available to preserve his come back again. Maybe the Fortuna fight will be worth watching.

Khan should win this one easy. He's the better boxer and has the faster hands Sure he has a glass jaw, but Algieri has no power.

No way Algieri is soft, he got knocked down hard by Ruslan early, came back and won the fight. He got knocked down a few times by Pac (not all of those knockdowns were legit) and he finished the fight on his feet still. Can't say Algieri is soft, he's a tough dude if anything. Just because he looks like a corporate type of office pu$$y doesn't necessarily mean he's a softie per say.

He's a tough guy man. That one punch that knocked him down in the 9th, I believe, would have ended most guys. He has incredible recovery skills.

Boxing always throws one in the works.

Khan should beat him up...but Algieri might just find success with something...subtle things can change fights...there have been bigger upsets.
