Comments Thread For: Julian Williams: Ishe Smith, Trout Taking Up Space

On June 13th Julian Williams (19-0-1) will return to the ring in Alabama against an opponent to be determined on the Deontay Wilder-Eric Molina undercard. The main event will be televised by Showtime along with the co-feature, Jose Pedraza-Andrey Klimov. Williams' fight will likely appear on SHO Extreme.

The undefeated prospect last fought in April when he won an unanimous decision against rugged veteran Joey Hernandez. Williams was satisfied with his performance which was his first against a left handed fighter.

His next fight is on SHO Extreme so that won't be a big name. But I think his next fight possibly will be a step up. All the other 154 prospects have stepped up (Jermell with Rosado and Vanes) or have one coming up (Jermall with K9 and Harrison with Nelson.) I can see him fighting Trout or Vanes next.

Just checked Williams out. Really solid guy, def gonna be a player at 154 if keeps it up. Hes at a point where a lot of prospects-contenders get distracted. Definately gonna be watching when he steps up to the next level.

They not the only one there a long list of guys that keep getting title shots/tv time and all they do is lose, lost, loss, L, etc, etc, etc..

Get those guys out the way and let have more fight like

        #1 vs #8
        #2 vs #7
        #3 vs #6
        #4 vs #5

Not #1 vs a guy that just lost his last 3 fights
