  • Comments Thread For: Golovkin Still Looking To Get in Four Fights in 2015

According to promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs) is looking to return on a date in September.

Golovkin wants to fight four times in 2015. He made his 2015 debut in February, when he stopped Martin Murray in eleven rounds of action in Monte Carlo. And then returned last night in Los Angeles to stop Willie Monroe in six rounds.

September is the next stop and then possibly one more fight before the close of the year, but it all depends on which fight is going to come about in September.

peter quillin is not an elite fighter

i mean i'd love to see golovkin beat the hell out of him, but it's an impossible fight to make and it wouldn't prove much at this point anyway

It sure is. Wish all the big names were as hungry to fight 4 times a year.
