Connecticut Convention Center, Hartford, Connecticut- Ukraine’s Ivan Golub (8-0, 6 KO’s) defeated very late replacement Henry Beckford (2-2,1KO) by 5th round TKO to open up the second to last Friday Night Fights Card on ESPN2. Golub started the fight early with a big left hand in round 1. Golub, a much more experienced amateur with over 300 fights to Beckford’s 40 showed it early on with multiple combinations to the body and to the head early on.
