Sounds like something a super competitive mfer would try to do. I've heard stories like that about Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali & other elite level cats in various fields besides sports.
The thing with these super competitive mfers is they are on a whole other level about **** most people don't give a **** about & you can't just turn that on & off.Comment

He's one of the most interesting fighters of the last 15 years in my opinion. His heart and will was unbelievable in the ring. It's interesting how he was able to achieve the level of celebrity he did in the UK. His fans were bar none the best in the sport, and they came to Vegas and took the whole **** over. Then Ricky just pissed it all away with his bad habits and addictions. It would be great to hear about all of this from his perspective.Comment

Ignorance is bliss... imagine being able to watch fights and the person you pick to win always win!!!!>? I'd love this sport even more... now if you can convince your bookie to somehow see it your way and pay you because the judges got it wrong you're paid in the shade.Comment

You can look at this another way I'm sure people sheer hatred of floyd won't allow them to but the man is absolutely obsessed with winning, maybe even to the point it's unhealthy. point is athletes like that seldom lose. Jordan has a different public image but is very similar to Floyd in that sense and most of his teammates despised him for it. That's also why I'd assume they like both like ********. the love the thrill of competing in something they have no control over...
Jay-z had a story where he played Jordan in pool and kept beating him. Jordan had him playing for hours until Jay finally (as he tells it) let Jordan win just so he could stop harassing him to continue playing.Comment

I'd say one of the the more overrated of the last 15 years. Sure he had a great fan base, but that dosent make him intersting to me. That popularity is why a publisher is willing to put the book out. They'll each buy two copies. He's one of the most interesting fighters of the last 15 years in my opinion. His heart and will was unbelievable in the ring. I'd be much more interested in reading a book about say Emanuel Burton, James Toney, Erik Morales., Naseem Hamed. All intersting and/or controversial characters in and out of the ring, IMO.Comment
