  • Comments Thread For: Loeffler: Golovkin vs. Canelo Would Be Huge in Texas

In his last two outings in Texas, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez has drawn nearly 70,000 fans against Austin Trout in San Antonio and this past weekend versus James Kirkland in Houston. It has certainly gotten the attention of Tom Loeffler, managing director of K2 Promotions, who has guided the career of Gennady Golovkin so deftly.

Loeffler makes it clear that hitting 'the Lone Star' state is a possibility for 'GGG'.

"When Gennady was fighting in New York I had so many requests from the California fans - I'm based on California - 'when are you going to bring 'Triple G' to California?' Now that he's pretty much established himself as the biggest boxing attraction that fights here in California, I've had the same requests from the Texas fans.

Oscar doesn't want this just yet for Canelo. It would be cool though if it could go down in September of this year.

Canelo will expose Genady Golovkin as another Jim Lampley hype job.

How will he expose him? GGG is strong. It would be great while it lasted but Canelo likes to **** and he would get good boy'd.

Can't take this seriously at all. You have a Andre Ward avi, it's obviously jealousy and envy coming from you bro.
