  • Comments Thread For: Sturm-Chudinov Early Results From Germany

In a battle of grizzled, aged, and faded heavyweight veterans, Bosnian Adnan Redzovic (16-1, 5 KOs) came back into a winning column with a solid stoppage of overmatched Kosovo native Bekim Pagga (5-8, 3 KOs), six years his senior. Redzovic, 38, suffered his first career loss in a close fight against hulking Swiss kayo artist Arnold Gjergjaj with a ninth-round stoppage. He did better versus very faded Pagga, who had his own moments but was mostly outgunned and outboxed. Pagga was down in the third after a left uppercut by Redzovic and had absolutely nothing left choosing to retire in his corner after the third round.

Lol what are those scores. Two judges saw it 118-100 & 116-112 and the other saw it completely the other way.

The 118-110 card is a disgrace. Worst card this year by a mile. 10 rounds to Chudinov? No way. It was a close fight. I had 115-113 Sturm.

Gazprom is happy that they got what they paid for I guess.

Sturm never won more than 3 round - never ever.

He stood ******ly right in front of Chudinov and got tagged and never mounted an offense of his own. Sturm's legs are gone - he looked old and he couldn't pull the trigger. He also did not work behind his jab - which once was his best weapon!

Chudinov is slow but he timed sturm well and outscored him by a wide margin, taking almost all of the rounds.

        Du tager fejl!

Sturm picked up most shots in his guard. You must have watched a bad stream or maybe you are new at scoring fights.

No i watched it on German television - Sturm got hit quite a lot and blocked many of the shots with his head (face to fist style). While his defence is still ok, he got hit a lot and never retaliated.

What fight did you see? Honestly i can't see how Sturm could have won more than three rounds without attacking.

What? Sturm was the aggressor for about 9 of the rounds.

Based on which criteria? He moved forward allright, but the effect of that was less than stellar. He moved right into Chudinovs range and got hit.

Also Sturm himself admitted that he lost the fight. I see that you have Chudinov the winner as well, but in my book the win was by a wider margin, having scored 118-110 myself.

Did Sturm really say that? A gentleman he must be. He was exhausted, so maybe he feels different tomorrow.

For the record, I had Sturm winning 115-113. Absolutely no way Chudinov won 10 rounds.
