Comments Thread For: Golovkin Eyes Unification at 160, Mayweather Dream Fight

Gennady Golovkin is deep into the heart of his training camp for his upcoming showdown with Willie Monroe, Jr., but still managed to take time to check out the biggest event of the 21st Century. The unbeaten middleweight titlist briefly broke camp to witness Floyd Mayweather cement his status as an all-time great with a clear-cut 12-round win over Manny Pacquiao on May 2 in Las Vegas.

While most were left disappointed in the lack of entertainment value that came with the pricy event, Golovkin saw the main event for what it was – a virtuoso performance by Mayweather. [Click Here To Read More]

Still got my fingers crossed for this matchup, but never gonna happen. Besides, for all we know he'll just get Canelo'd.

Floyd Mayweather will never fight a killer in the ring unless they're way past their prime or their a guy coming from jr welter

Here come the Floyd fans saying that GGG should move up to 168,when he made 158 for his last fight, and was looking ripped.

              Undoubtedly.

I understand why GGG would want Mayweather - but it's simply never going to happen. Mayweather would never fight GGG and you can understand why. He's two weightclasses above him and a murderer.

GGG should concentrate on getting Canelo or Cotto in the ring.

Golovkin can't beat Mayweather because he is slower than Pacquiao. And Golovkin's power is no use against Mayweather.
