I'm so tired of seeing people and media complain about the fight last night!!!!

I mostly blame the media but human ******ity can not be overlooked either. I mostly blame the media for trying to label this a "fight of the century" trying to act like it was going to be Hagler-Hearns or Morales-Barrera. If you've seen Floyd fight before you should have never expected an all out slugfest.

I think most people are just mad they spent $100 to see Floyd lose and he didn't. it was the same with Floyd-Oscar. Both were good solid fights nothing special action wise but the skill level and style clash was a thing of beauty.

I was screaming for Manny the whole way. I thought he would win but Floyd should get credit for taking away the angles so Manny couldn't put his punches together. Maybe 5 years ago it would of been different with killer Manny in the ring but we will never know.

Just don't biiiitch you spent money knowing most likely how Floyd would fight and get mad he didn't lose. Im still not a huge Floyd fan but I give him respect and I think he will get more respect once he's gone for a whIle and people start to forget about his personalitity and give him more respect for the skill. Probably the best technically sound defensive fighter of all time. Though I won't say best defensive fighter ever because of the respect I have for Pernell.

I haven't paid attention to what the media is saying but I think people expected more from a fight that took six years and was so lucrative. It was boxings Super Bowl and one guy kicked field goals while the other punted on every possession. It was a let down, zero drama, that's not entertainment.

Most of the people complaining didn't know anything about either fighter. They just knew that this fight had been all anybody was talking about in boxing for years.

Floyd was getting mad hate last night anywhere the casual fans were discussing the fight. Manny still somehow managed to come out of it looking like the good guy.

The media set people up for disappointment. That is something the media is really good at.

No, charging 100 for one fight and selling tickets for 100k did that.

I think a lot of us expected it to go the way it went but had in our mind some type of drama would of unfolded.

Didn't like the entire boxing world pick Mayweather to win? It's like we all knew he would but had in the back of our head some act of miracle would happen to change that and that would be the drama we were all going to pay the $100 for.

This didn't happen and in the end I think people are pissed because they thought something would happen that shouldn't have happened. We got exactly what we had thought would happen... Confused yet? lol

Lack of clean punches from either fighter was the biggest disappointment. Mayweather is always defensive but he usually lands quite a few good shots in each round. In this fight he only very rarely landed with any authority. He did enough to win so its hard to criticize too much, but it wasn't exactly a classic Mayweather performance.

Pacquiao was most disappointing because he didnt do what he needed to do to change the fight. He was overly cautious and he needed to fight with more urgency. He looked scared to engage at times, even when pressing the action he spent too much time sitting out of punching range. If he genuinely thought he was winning then that would explain why he didnt try and change it up, but i really find it hard to believe. His corner especially need to shoulder some of the blame for not telling him what was up.

As boxing fans we knew the fight wouldn't live up to the hype, but it was worse than I was expecting.

No joke, there were maybe, maybe, 4 or 5 punches in the entire fight that were actually hard. Both guys were very disappointing offensively. I expected that from Mayweather, his offense has been bad for a few fights now, but for Pacquiao that was inexcusable, especially since he had to know he needed a late charge.

When people are paying $100 for basically just the main event, they have every right to complain.

smh.. i wish i could have took pictures of some of the **** the casuals were saying.

one person tried to say that the whole event was rigged and max kellerman was paid by floyd to make pacquiao look bad (kellerman is hbo, pacs home network....) i didnt even try to explain that one to him. other people were saying it was biased commentary in floyds favour. and 96% of the social media bandwagoners voicing their opinions dont know how to score a fight.
