Manny Pacquiao thanked Floyd Mayweather as the rivals faced off for the final time before clashing in their seismic welterweight showdown in Las Vegas.
A crowd of 10,000 gathered at the MGM's Garden Arena on Friday to watch the two finest boxers of their generation weigh in, Mayweather scaling 146lbs and Pacquiao coming in at 145lbs.
When they met face to face on the centre of the stage, Pacquiao looked up at the taller American, smiled, nodded and delivered a message of gratitude.
"I said thank you. I said thank you from the fans that the fight will happen. All the fans deserve this fight," Pacquiao said.
