    PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A proposed mega-bout between heavyweight contenders Mariusz Wach, a former world-title challenger, and David Price scheduled for early June has fallen through after Price reportedly withdrew from the fight Monday despite Wach already agreeing to terms.

    “We came to an agreement with representatives from [Price’s promoter] Sauerland Promotion and have been waiting patiently for a contract,” said CES Boxing President and CEO Jimmy Burchfield Sr., who co-promotes Wach with Mariusz Kolodziej of Global Boxing. “Now we hear Price no longer wants to fight. Is he scared to face Wach?”

                  If Price won't fight anyone with a pulse he should just retire, saving himself and his fans who originally backed him further embarrassment.

                      Sauerland´s match making is complete garbage. They have some decent fighters fighting cans and holding belts hostage. I´m glad they lost Braekhus and Helenius, hope they lose at least Huck, Braehmer and Hernandez.

                          Wach would've been a silly fight for Price.

                          Price wouldn't be able to blast him out with his power due to Wach's ridiculously durable chin, and the pole would keep walking forward all night waiting for Price to gas.

                          Hopefully the Chisora fight gets made. Dereck wants it.

                                      Wach would beat Pricey. Not a good fight for him. Looked pretty **** in his last few fights as well.
