I don't even know where to begin with this but Manny is probably the biggest living legend in boxing today, starting his career at 106 pounds and going all the way up to 150 destroying fighters like Barrera, Morales, Cotto, Hatton, DLH and Margarito among many others.
He is a boxer, a politician, a singer, a basketball coach and whatever else he fancies and the whole nation loves him. He's adored worldwide, he seems like he can do no wrong regardless of extramarital affairs, ********, bastard children and tax evasion. People still love him no matter what.
I can just imagine people meeting him and knowing everything he's done, what they feel like, what the nation of Philippines feels like towards Manny Pacquiao.
On the other hand, we have Floyd Mayweather who is the "unwanted" legend.
Anything he does is bad, he's never forgiven and he's mostly unwanted by the general public. He is disdained. When the general people meet him they are not really in awe of him as Floyd Mayweather the legend. He is the most unappreciated fighter in today's boxing and part of it is his negative personality, part of it is his fighting style.
We have two of the biggest legends in boxing today and one is adored and loved and the other one is hated and despised, even his own turn against him.
I wonder how does it feel to live everyday life as Manny Pacquiao and as a Floyd Mayweather?
