Comments Thread For: Klitschko Returns To America, Decisions Bryant Jennings

Madison Square Garden, New York City - WBA/IBO/IBF/WBO Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Bryant Jennings (19-1, 10KOs). The scores were 116-111, 116-111, 118-109.

It was a rather slow fight. Jennings was moving, boxing and jumping in here and there with a shot to the body. Klitschko was jabbing, throwing the right hand and controlling the distance. Jennings started getting a little more aggressive in the fourth round as Klitschko was warned for holding. Jennings continued to try different things in the fifth to offset Klitschko's pace. Klitschko continued to control the distance but Jennings was often targeting the body. Jennings started getting on the inside and doing good work in the sixth and seventh and Klitschko was looking for something big.

wlad should of had another point deduction or DQ jennings should fight a couple more and rematch him, wlad is there to be hit when the ref actually makes him not hold, and wlad still got away with lots of clinching lol

Horrible fight. Heavy weight is a disgrace. Where did combination punching go? Did it go out with Tyson, Holyfield and Lewis?

an embarrassment of a main event. Clinching, holding, pushing is not boxing.

I'm not the one that usually complains about fights being boring, but damn. Klitschko is so hard to watch

I'm proud of Jennings. With a little more experience, he might have beaten Wlad tonight.

See, this is what happens when Wlad can't cheat. He looks like garbage.

klit is a disgrace..jennings not rushin him all night is a bigger disgrace..hate a fighter that goes all out then stops...keep pushing..u got one shot take it

the more he rushes him the more likely another point goes

Basketball players can't turn into boxers at the age of 24 and expect to become champions, no fundamentals at all! the man didn't even throw 1 jab throughout the whole fight. I give him credit he did very well considering his very poor skills but Klitschko looked like **** too, he should've blasted him out in 6-8 rounds
