  • Comments Thread For: Mayweather Takes High Road Regarding Roach Remarks

Floyd Mayweather Jr. resisted the temptation Wednesday to respond to Freddie Roach’s relentless taunts.

Roach has been highly critical of Mayweather throughout the promotion of the highly anticipated Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight scheduled for May 2 in Las Vegas. The 38-year-old Mayweather (47-0, 26 KOs) still took the high road, instead of taking shots at a Hall-of-Fame trainer who's battling Parkinson's disease.

You know...I felt bad when Ariza kicked the shiat out of Roach, but listening to him over the pass weeks I'm starting to think it was Karma. Nothing like seeing a dude talk shiat about another guy while he's shaking and drooling....dam shame.

I think with that Lawsuit coming, Freddie might finally shut up.

Funny how people bash this, when its truly a class act. The Mayweathers have respected Roach in the buildup(Honestly, his health would have been the perfect/only ammo) and not took it as far as Roach has(Call in officers to talk about Floyds past to motivate Pacquiao? Are you serious?) and people will just bash him nomatter what.

If it was any other fighter, people would be applauding said fighter and saying how focused and disciplined he was, but ofcourse its Floyd mayweather.

This is coming from someone who hopes Pacquiao knocks him the **** out the same way I was hoping Tarver knocked out Roy Jones in their rematch.

But the Pacquiao fanbase is ****ing disgusting, just a bunch of worshipping Diickriders.

Thats the point I make on this site since a few years. Pac is a legend, an all time great, he never needs to bach other fighters or anybody. However his fanbase is disgusting and composed of a bunch of lunatics without any respect.

You have Floyd in here saying he respect Roach and doesnt want to say anything bad about him and after two comments you have the King lunatic Pac Boy whining about it. It's just sad now.
