Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is picking Floyd Mayweather Jr. to win a twelve round decision in his upcoming mega-fight against Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Canelo faced Mayweather in 2013 at a catch-weight of 152-pounds. Mayweather easily won a twelve round decision over the larger man. Canelo's last two fights, and his upcoming bout with James Kirkland on May 9th, are 155-pound bouts. The young Mexican fighter has complained in some interviews that he was a little drained for the fight.
Canelo says the defense and movement of Mayweather will create a lot of problems for Pacquiao in the contest.
